Meet Andrew! As our Product Manager, he’s the newest addition to the Lawtrades team. Born in Michigan, but based in SF, he boasts a wealth of experience after leading product operations teams at both Uber and Workrise. Let’s get to know him a little better!

Can you share two interesting facts about yourself?

My family is originally from Greece, specifically Athens and the island Rhodes. Since college, I've lived in three different cities: Chicago, Houston, and San Francisco.

How do you like to spend your weekends?

Either taking advantage of the outdoors by going hiking around SF or staying in and following my hometown Detroit/Michigan teams.

What is the most unconventional job you ever had?

Flaming saganaki cheese for the entertainment of customers at a restaurant in Detroit's Greektown where I spent two summers waiting tables during college. There was not exactly robust training at this restaurant, so I ended up lighting my hair on fire on one of my first attempts.

Why did you choose to join Lawtrades?

Marketplaces excite me and the chance to bring the technology and efficiency that comes with a marketplace to an industry for the first time is a rare opportunity. 

What are your primary responsibilities?

Building, shipping, and iterating on new product features for users.

What are you most looking forward to in this position?

Meeting customers and really understanding how we can help solve their problems.

Where do you think you help the most in this position?

I have a background in both product and operations so will help the team think through how tech can help solve customer problems both in the short and long term.
